Antique Glass Cheese Preserver

This item has ridges on the bottom which holds a block of cheese above a mixture of salt, water and vinegar which keeps the cheese fresher longer and discourages the growth of mold. The directions for filling the container with the solution is printed on the bottom of the preserver.
